CUT FABRICS

Cut pieces in the following order.
Designer Sherri McConnell prefers
to make triangle-squares larger than
necessary, then trim them to size. To
use this method, cut 4" squares instead
of the 3^7 ∕ 8 " squares listed in cutting
instructions, and cut 3" squares instead
of the 2^7 ∕ 8 " squares listed.

From off-white print, cut:
▫ 12—1^1 ∕ 2 ×42" strips
▫ 17—2×21" strips
▫ 3—1^1 ∕ 2 ×21" strips
▫ 24—3^7 ∕ 8 " squares
▫ 12—2^7 ∕ 8 " squares
▫ 6—2^1 ∕ 2 " squares
▫ 12—2^1 ∕ 4 " squares
▫ 6—1^1 ∕ 2 ×3" rectangles
▫ 30 —1^1 ∕ 2 " squares

▫ 12—3^7 ∕ 8 " squares
▫ 2—2^7 ∕ 8 " squares
▫ 3—2^1 ∕ 2 " squares
From dark gold print, cut:
▫ 4—3^7 ∕ 8 " squares
▫ 2—2^7 ∕ 8 " squares
▫ 3—2^1 ∕ 2 " squares
From light brown floral, cut:
▫ 3—2×21" strips
▫ 4—3^7 ∕ 8 " squares
From one brown floral, cut:
▫ 3—1^1 ∕ 2 ×21" strips
From one brown print, cut:
▫ 4—3^7 ∕ 8 " squares
From remaining assorted brown
prints and florals, cut:
▫ 2—2^7 ∕ 8 " squares
▫ 3—2^1 ∕ 2 " squares
From one orange print, cut:
▫ 8—2×21" strips
From a second orange print, cut:
