3. Lay out two A units and one B unit
   in three rows (Diagram 17). Join rows
   to make a Nine-Patch unit. The unit
   should be 3^1 ⁄ 2 " square including seam
   allowances. Repeat to make six Nine-
   Patch units total.

ASSEMBLE QUILT CENTER

1. Referring to Quilt Assembly
   Diagram, lay out blocks, sashing units,
   and Nine-Patch units in seven rows.
   Sew together pieces in rows. Press
   seams toward sashing.
