ADAM DRESCHER

T

hrough his company of Adam
Unlimited, Adam Drescher has
become one of the knife industry’s best-
known names in rayskin. He’s also the only
one in the knife business to act in a movie
with Clint Eastwood.
Adam has a dual career in knife and
cinematic circles. He travels regularly to
Southeast Asia to buy rayskin for sheaths,
handle inlays, knife cases and pouches,
and other items. In fact, this year’s BLADE
Show marked his 20th anniversary selling
animal skins.
While Adam is well known in the knife
community, he’s not exactly a household
name in the movie business. However,
through the 40 or so fi lm roles and
television credits he has amassed in almost
four decades of acting—including his
recent movie with Eastwood, Th e Mule, and
also such earlier eff orts as Batman Returns,
Ed Wood, Th e Tick, Boston Public, MADtv,
Men Behaving Badly and others—he has
been seen by millions of people. It’s just
that many of them don’t know it. He laughs
with those who typically say, “I saw that!
You were in that?” As result, Adam refers to
himself as “the guy who was in that thing.”
