The detent securing the knife inside
the sheath was a bit on the weak side,
so my concern is its hold may loosen
over time as the sheath breaks in

belt loop helps carry the knife easily.
There’s also a wooden display box.
MSRP: $350.

The 321 Courage from Steel Will
Knives overflows with Asian-inspired
features from stem to stern. The 7-inch
blade is 9Cr15MoV stainless steel in
a modified tanto shape. A full-length

an element of attitude.
A cool feature is the modified tanto
tip. Most tantos have two separate
cutting edges—the longer primary one
and the shorter tip edge that allows
the blade to cut as it pierces thicker
materials. The 321’s tip has two distinct
edge angles that set it apart visually
from the competition.

A good chopper, the CRKT Shinbu offers
precise control, too. It is the most traditional
