33 (37, 42, 46) cm from beg, end
with a WS row.
Next Row: RS – Cast off 17 (20, 21,
24) sts, patt to end.
Next Row: Cast off 17 (20, 21,
24) sts.
Leave rem 28 (30, 32, 34) on hold
for back neck.

FRONT
Work as for back until front measures
27 (31, 35, 39) cm from beg, end
with a WS row.

Shape Neck
Next Row: RS – Patt 25 (28, 30,
33) sts; slip next 12 (14, 14, 16) sts

to stitch holder for centre front neck,
rejoin new ball of yarn and patt to end
of row.
Working both fronts at same time, dec
1 st at each neck edge next 8 (8, 9,
9) rows – 17 (20, 21, 24) sts.
Patt straight until front measures same
as back to shoulder.
Cast off rem sts each shoulder.

SleeVeS
With 4mm needles, cast on 39 (41,
43, 43) sts.
K1, p1 rib for 6 (8, 8, 10) rows.
Change to 4.5mm needles.
Stst and inc 1 st each end every 5th
(5th, 6th, 5th) row to 55 (59, 63,
69) sts.
Stst straight until sleeve measures 24
(27, 31, 35) cm from beg, end with a
WS row.
Cast off loosely.

MAKING UP
Use mattress st to sew all seams. Join
left shoulder seam.

NecKBANd
With RS facing and 4mm needles, k
the back neck holder 28 (30, 32, 34)
sts, pick up and k 16 (16, 18, 18)
sts down front neck, k the front neck
holder 12 (14, 14, 16) sts, pick up
and k 16 (16, 18, 18) sts up front
neck – 72 (76, 82, 86) sts.
K1, p1 rib for 9 rows.
Change to 4.5mm needles and rib
until collar measures 7.5 (8, 9, 10)
cm from beg.
Cast off loosely in rib.

Join right shoulder and neckband,
allow neckband to fold in half to RS.
Place markers 14 (15, 16, 17)cm
down from shoulders on back and
front.
Insert sleeve tops between markers.
Join side and sleeve seams.
