BACK
Next Row: WS – Cast off 3 (3, 3, 4)
sts, patt to end.
Dec 1 st each end next 2 rows, then
every other row 3 (4, 4, 4) times –
44 (48, 52, 56) sts.
Patt straight until armhole measures
11 (12, 13, 14) cm from beg, end
with a WS row.
Cast off 12 (13, 15, 16) sts beg next
2 rows, leave rem 20 (22, 22, 24) sts
on hold for neckband.

RIGHT FRONT
With WS facing return to sts on hold
for right front, rejoin yarn, cast off 3
(3, 3, 4) sts at beg of WS row for
underarm, patt to end.
Dec 1 st at armhole edge next 2 rows,
then every other row 3 (4, 4, 4) times


  • 25 (27, 31, 33) sts.
    Patt straight until armhole measures
    7 (8, 8, 9) cm from beg, end with a
    WS row.


Shape Neck
Next Row: RS – Patt 7 (8, 8, 9) sts
and slip these sts to holder, patt to
end.
Dec 1 st at neck edge next 6 (6, 8,
8) rows.
Patt straight until front measures same
as back to shoulder, end with a RS
row.
Cast off rem 12 (13, 15, 16) sts for
shoulder.

LEFT FRONT
With RS facing return to sts on hold for
left front, rejoin yarn, cast off 3 (3, 3,
4) sts at beg of RS row for underarm,
patt to end.
Dec 1 st at armhole edge next 2 rows,
then every other row 3 (4, 4, 4) times


  • 25 (27, 31, 33) sts.
    Patt straight until left front measures
    same as right front to beg of neck
    shaping, end with a WS row.


Shape Neck
Next Row: RS – Patt to last 7 (8, 8,
9) sts, slip these last 7 (8, 8, 9) sts
to stitch holder.
Dec 1 st at neck edge next 6 (6, 8,
8) rows.
Patt straight until left front measures
same as right front to shoulder, end
with a WS row.
Cast off rem 12 (13, 15, 16) sts for
shoulder.

SLEEVES
With 4mm needles, cast on 35 (37,
39, 39) sts.
Garter Stitch (= k every row) for 10
rows and inc 3 (1, 5, 5) sts evenly
across last row to 38 (38, 44, 44)
sts.
Change to 4.5mm needles.
Beg Main pattern
Row 1: RS – P2; [k4, p2] 6 (6, 7, 7)
times.
Row 2: WS – K2; [p4, k2] 6 (6, 7, 7)
times.
Rep these 2 rows once more.
Row 5: K3, p2; [k4, p2] 5 (5, 6, 6)
times; k3.
Row 6: P3, k2; [p4, k2] 5 (5, 6, 6)
times; p3.
Rep last 2 rows once more. These 8
rows form Main patt.
