• 8ply yarn in main colour – Pink


• 3 contrast colours – yellow, purple
  and green

NEEDLES AND TOOLS

• 4mm knitting needles


• Wool sewing needle

TENSION

As per wool used

GETTING STARTED

Rib pattern:

Row 1: K2, * P1, K1, rep from * to

last st, K1.

Row 2: K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to

end.

These 2 rows form rib pattern.

WORKING PATTERN

Using MC cast on 29 stitches.

In MC work 4 rows rib pattern. – Pink.

Change to C1 and work 2 rows. –

Yellow.

Change to C2 and work 2 rows. –

Purple.

Change to C3 and work 2 rows. –

Green.

These 10 rows form stripe pattern.

Working in rib pattern throughout

repeat stripe pattern until work

measures 12cm from beginning.

Cast off loosely in rib.

MAKING UP

Fold work in half lengthwise and sew

along side and across bottom of work.
