center of attention. While a rep for
the couple denies the Clooneys have
twins on the way again, Meghan
Markle is already organizing a lav-
ish baby shower for her pal, insists
the source. “It’s her turn after Amal
ruary,” explains the source of
3-month-old Archie Harri-
son Mountbatten-Windsor’s
mom. But Meghan — who in
recent months has enjoyed
an increasingly close friend-
ship with Amal sparked
by their shared commit-
ment to women’s rights
and education initiatives
as well as the fact that
they now live half an
hour from each other
in England — is get-
ting a little help with
the planning. Former
first lady Michelle Obama
“is teaming up with the duchess,
and the two of them have been com-
ing up with lots of fun ideas,” says
the source, noting that it’s recent-
ly been reported that
George wants Mi-
chelle’s husband
— former Presi-
dent Barack Obama,
who’s been a good
pal for years — to be
godfather to his kids.
The future is set to
be busy — but bright.
“George didn’t real-
ize how much joy hav-
ing children would
bring him until Ella
and Alexander were
born,” says the source.
Now, he wouldn’t
trade it for anything.
“It’s never going to be
easy, balancing parent-
hood with their busy
careers, but at the end
of the day, family will
always come first,” says
the source. “They can’t
wait to start this new
adventure together.”
Though Meghan Markle, 38 , has made a point
to keep son Archie out of the public eye since
his birth in May, insiders say she’s proudly been
showing him off during private visits with friends
— like Amal — at the Frogmore Cottage home
she shares with Prince Harry, 34 , in Windsor,
England. “Ella and Alexander have enjoyed a
number of playdates with Archie at Frogmore,
and they adore him,” says a source. Though
Archie’s still so little, he “loves watching the
with ‘the baby,’ ” adds the source. While Amal’s
toddlers play, “she and Meghan swap mommy
latest with their humanitarian work.”
