t’s a day most par-
ents face with a
mix of pride and
sadness, and Angeli-
na Jolie will likely be
no exception when she
drops eldest son Maddox
off at college at the end of
this month in South Korea.
The 1 8-year-old straight-
A student has chosen Yon-
sei University, where he’ll
study biochemistry. “Mad-
dox is extra special to An-
gie because he’s her first,”
says an insider. “She can’t
believe how quickly he’s
grown up. She’s really go-
ing to miss him.”
The news of Mad-
dox’s milestone of-
fers a rare glimpse
into the lives of the six
Jolie-Pitt children.
While they’ve made

Angelina, 44 , and dad
Brad Pitt, 55 , over
the years, Maddox,
Pax, 15 , Zahara,

11 -year-old twins
Knox and Vivienne
have largely been
kept out of the spot-
light by their par-
ents, who split in 2016.
Now, Life & Style has an ex-
clusive peek into the tight-
knit brood’s private world.
“The kids have a hand-
ful of friends,” says the in-
sider, “but because they’re
homeschooled, they’ve
formed an unbreakable

bond. They really rely on
each other.”

DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES
No one is closer than
Maddox, Pax and Shiloh.
“They’re thick as thieves,”
says the insider. “Pax and
Shi are really going to
miss their big brother.”
Pax is worried family soc-
cer matches won’t be the
same, but the insider says
sporty Shiloh will pick up
the slack. “She loves skate-
boarding, rock climbing
and martial arts,” adds the
insider, “and had a blast
teaching Pax and Knox
how to skate in the skate
park in their backyard.”
Zahara, meanwhile, is
the resident girlie-girl.
“She’s obsessed with fash-
ion and loves flicking
through magazines for style
tips,” says the insider. Ange-
lina encourages the kids to
express themselves freely,
“so she lets Zahara choose
her own clothes,” says the
insider, “within reason.”
Twins Viv and Knox are
quite different — from
each other, that is.
“Quirky” Vivi-
enne is already
showing an in-

terest in acting, says
the insider, while Knox
is more reserved. “He’s
quiet,” says the insider,

Like most siblings, the
Jolie-Pitts occasionally get
on one another’s nerves.
“Obviously, they squab-
ble,” says the insider, “but
most of the

along.” Al-
ready ac-
complished
world travel-
ers, the kids
are spending
their sum-
mer State-
side, splitting
time be-
tween New
Mexico,
where Mom
is filming
Those Who
Wish Me
Dead, and
Brad’s home in LA. “De-
spite their messy divorce,
Brad and Angie are amaz-
ing parents,” says the insid-
er. “They feel really blessed
to have such well-behaved,
grounded kids — quite a
rarity in Hollywood!”

“They’re six
very strong-
minded,
thoughtful,
worldly
individuals,”
Angie raves of

of them.”
