G.H. Cooper’s daughter inherited the property
after his passing. His daughter alongside her
husband took responsibility of the property and
managed the hotel until the late 1930s, from then
on Mrs Ward (G.H. Cooper’s granddaughter)
became the proprietor from the late 1930s until
the mid-1960s.
In 1966, the mansion was sold on to The
Logos Foundation whom of which changed the
properties name to Westwood Lodge. Under the
ownership of The Logos Foundation, the property
was broken up from its original state and housed
approx. 70 people permanently. The ownership
