‘My previous Porsche was a 996
and I always found the car
unbalanced at the edges. The
987 is so perfectly balanced;
modern enough to live with for longer
trips yet not so modern that it loses that
proper analogue feedback. Buy an
enthusiast's car with specialist history; I
didn't buy a 3.4 due to bore-scoring
stories but I’m not at all disappointed with
th e 2.7, so don't discount them.’
