tighteneddowntoholdit tothepreviouslycutstockpipe.

MBRPknowsit’simportanttokeepthoseexhaustexittemperaturesascoolaspossible,
solikethefactoryversion,thissystemis designedwithnotchescutintotheoutletpipeto
directoutsideairflowintotheexhauststream.Betweenthisandtheirtipdesign,wherethe
4-inchpipewillrunalmostthewholelengthinsidethe5-inchtips,youwon’thavetoworry
aboutdiscolorationofthepolishedstainlesstipsfromexcessiveheat.

Thosedual-rolled-edge,slant-cuttipsreallyfinishoffthelookonsucha beautifultruck.
Theexitpointlookssomuchbettercomingoutfromunderthefender(insteadofbelowthe
rearbumper),they’llcompletelychancetheoveralllookofyourtruck.

The2017+GMDuramaxtruckscreategreatpowerandtorqueinfactoryform,and
GMhasdonetheirabsolutebesttolockdowntheirEngineControlModulesothatthe
aftermarketcan’tcrackintoit.Thishasmadeaftermarkettuningoptionsverylimited.But
forthoseofyouthatwouldn’tminda littleextrapep,therearesomeoptions,suchasthe
Amp’dthrottlesensitivityboxfromEdgeProducts.

TheAmp’dboxisn’tanactualtunerthatwillincreasepower.Instead,bypiggybacking
intoyourthrottlepedal,it willremapthethrottleinputcurve,makingyoutapintothepower
alreadyonhanda littlesooneroffidle.Thiswillmakethetruckfeelmoreresponsiveand
torqueyonthelowendofthepowerband.
