Interior designer Kirstyn Lloyd from Maker+May

Interior Design Studio (Jindabyne, NSW) was

briefed to create a high-functioning, contemporary

entertainer’s kitchen. Her stunning design, composed

of black Polytec cabinetry, Elba marble and European

oak, features a huge custom suspended light fitting

above a giant 5.3m-long island bench. Her project’s

one of seven Australian designs, and 30 entries

globally, to be named as finalists in the biannual

international Kitchen Design Contest run by

Sub-Zero Wolf. Judging takes place in the US in

September. Good luck to the Australian contenders!
