“There is a great atmosphere in the area whenever
there are major events on,” says Joanne. “We love
being able to tap into the vibe and then retreat
home for downtime.” In summer, the rooftop
garden comes into its own. In the morning it’s used
for sitting in the sun, drinking coffee and reading
the paper; at night, for entertaining friends, as an
outdoor cinema or enjoying sundowners to the
sounds of concerts at nearby stadiums.
