November 2017
The Anova PRO 2 is
launched in the UK’s
first fully-4K studio,
Celebro Studios in
London.

September 2017
The highly anticipated on-camera
NEO 2 is launched, alongside the
announcement of a technology
partnership with lighting
manufacturer Elinchrom to
integrate its cutting-edge, reliable
Skyport technology into the
Rotolight range.

April 2017
The first-ever continuous LED
with High Speed Sync flash was
launched, the Rotolight AEOS.
Built-in handles enable users to
‘work the light’ at any angle or
follow a moving subject easily
without the need for expensive
rigging equipment.

May 2015
Rotolight launches
the NEO and is
awarded Photography
News’ award for Best
Continuous Light
(voted for by the
public).

NEO 2
The NEO 2 is the most
portable light in the Rotolight
range (weighing less than
500g). Like the AEOS below,
it offers a combination of
bright, constant LED
illumination and HSS fl ash.

AEOS
This disc-like LED can be used
in the studio or on location. It
offers both powerful constant
LED illumination and High
Speed Sync (HSS) fl ash with a
runtime lasting up to two
hours on a 95 w/h battery.

Anova PRO 2
Aimed at professionals the
Anova PRO 2 is a
revolutionary LED Studio/
location light and HSS fl ash,
that redefi nes the standard for
professional studio or location
lighting. It is one of the
brightest LED lights to be
launched in its class.

Donnelly, who loves using the
AEOS, German portrait and
celebrity photographer GABO
(Gabriele Oestreich) who
recommends the Anova PRO 2, and
Director of Photography Stefan
Lange, a top cinematographer who
uses the NEO 2 kits – so there are
certainly plenty of options for every
type of image maker out there.
What’s next for Rotolight? One
thing is for sure: they won’t be
stopping any time soon! Rotolight
has consistently delivered 68%
growth year on year for the past
three consecutive years. The
company has also just secured £5
million of equity investment from
the UK’s largest venture capital
trust, Octopus Investments, which
will enable 15 new products to be
brought to market. It will be
fascinating to see what the future
holds for Rotolight, but with family,
integrity and British products at the
heart of its business, there isn’t
much that could go wrong.
