ASSEMBLE UNITS

Referring to Diagram 9 for

orientation of pieces, sew together

one taupe print 3" square, two dark

gray floral triangle-squares, and one

white vine print 3" square in pairs.

Join pairs to make Unit A. The unit

should be 5^1 ⁄ 2 " square including

seam allowances. Repeat to make

84 A units total.

Referring to Diagram 10, sew

together four dark gray floral

triangle-squares in pairs. Join pairs to

make Unit B. The unit should be 5^1 ⁄ 2 "

square including seam allowances.

Repeat to make 32 B units total.

Referring to Diagram 11, sew

together one black vine print

triangle-square, two medium gray

print triangle squares, and one dark

gray print triangle-square in pairs.

Join pairs to make Unit C. The unit

should be 5^1 ⁄ 2 " square including

seam allowances. Repeat to make

together a white vine print small

triangle and a black vine print 3"

square. Add a second white vine print

small triangle to make a small pieced

triangle unit. Repeat to make 40 small

triangle unit and a black print

medium triangle to make Unit D

(Diagram 12). The unit should be 5^1 ⁄ 2 "

square including seam allowances.

Repeat to make 40 D units total.

ASSEMBLE QUILT CENTER

two A units and two white tone-

on-tone triangle-squares in pairs.

Join pairs to make Block 1. The block

should be 10^1 ⁄ 2 " square including seam

allowances. Repeat to make four total

of Block 1.
