EMMERDALE
ITV, 7pm
As Will returns to the village, both Harriet and
Dawn are pleased to see him. But that happiness
doesn’t last long when Cain sacks him from the
garage. Comforting him later, Dawn realises
there’s still something between Will and Harriet.
It’s bad news at The Woolpack as Charity tells
Paddy he, Chas and Bear will have to move out
because of the dry rot. Already stressed, things
get worse for Paddy when Bear asks him to read
out a letter from his mother.

EASTENDERS
BBC1, 8pm
With the news that Phil’s coming home from
hospital, Ben decides to throw him a party.
Nothing weird about that, obvs, other than the
fact not so long ago he was trying to kill him.
That’s something Phil may or may not
remember as he quizzes both Ben and Jay on
their argument at his hospital bedside. It seems
his memories of the attack might finally be
coming back to Phil, which makes terrifying news
for Kat when she finds him in her kitchen...

LONG LOST FAMILY
ITV, 9pm
The final episode of the series takes a
different tack from the usual
investigations and reunions, this time
with families making a public plea for
relatives who have gone missing.
People whose children or siblings
have disappeared as adults and who
the police have not been able to find.
The first appeal is on behalf of the
family of Matthew Bone, who
disappeared from his home in
Portsmouth in March last year.
Last sighted in Worcestershire,

presenter Nicky Campbell goes to
meet a police team to discuss his
disappearance and also talks to Matt’s
parents and sister Katie.
The second case is Simon Greaves,
whose car was found abandoned by
Bempton Cliffs, near Bridlington, East
Yorkshire, just before Christmas 2013,
and whose sister Rachel is desperate
to get answers.
Nicky also meets staff from Missing
People, a charity which the Daily
Mirror features on its letters page, and
which supports families as they deal
with the heartache of a lost loved one.

WORRIES Carole
drops bombshell
on Stath

STATH LETS FLATS
C4, 10pm
This strange little comedy was a
quiet hit first time around, picking
up critical acclaim and BAFTA
nominations – and now it’s back
for a second series.
Stath (played by writer and
creator Jamie Demetriou) is the
hapless hero, working in his dad’s
estate agency Michael & Eagle
Lettings. However, his dad is now
distinctly hands-off, meaning
Stath is struggling with his
smarmy new boss Julian without

much support. His sister Sophie is
too busy working on her pop
career and his mate Al is well-
meaning but rather useless.
Stath’s left feeling even more
insecure when he sees the new
promo video Julian has put
together for the agency, complete
with choreography and racy
in-shower scene and so tries (but
obviously fails) to make a video of
his own.
Although he’s soon got bigger
worries on his mind when
colleague Carole (Katy Wix) drops
a bit of a bombshell.

BIG WEEK AT THE ZOO
C5, 8pm
WE Brits just can’t get enough of animals.
From aardvarks to zebras, and everything
in between, we love our furry, leathery,
feathery and/or scaly friends.
This week of programmes, coming from the
Yorkshire Wildlife Park, introduces viewers to
some of the incredible animals that live there
and at other zoos up and down the country.
We also get to see what it takes to look after
them – and witness the conservation work that
goes on at these places. Presented by Helen

Skelton and Nick Baker, there will also be
famous faces joining in on the animal
antics, such as Strictly stars Janette and
Aljaz looking after the elephants at
Blackpool Zoo, comedian Susan Calman
assisting a safari park in Stirling, the
Yorkshire Vet Peter Wright making
friends with a tapir, and JLS star JB Gill
helping with some hippo dentistry and meeting
a baby sloth.
The series will show some of the zoos’ most
adorable newborns, give an insight into
veterinary procedures and animal relocations,

and show the challenges involved when
you’re working with some of the planet’s
most endangered creatures.
Like the Chinese alligators featured
in tonight’s show : there are only a
hundred left in the wild and at a wildlife
park in Oxfordshire they’re putting
everything in place in the hope their
new male and female will breed.
Will it be love at first bite, or will one of them
get overly snappy?
We also meet a trio of one-month-old
endangered tiger cubs. It’s just too much cute.

GUILTY Bethany
feels bad for Craig

CORONATION STREET
ITV, 7.30pm & 8.30pm
After learning Emma could be his biological
daughter, Steve turns DNA detective and
over lunch in The Bistro subtly swipes some of
her hair for testing.
Bethany is faced with an unwelcome blast
from the past at work when a man she
recognises from Nathan’s parties comes for a
meal with his family. As they leave, his angry wife
accidentally reverses her car into Craig, leaving
Bethany feeling guilty that once again Craig has
been caught up in her mess and hurt.
