Portland Book Festival
The 2019 Portland Book Festival,
hosted by Literary Arts, will be held on
November 9 at the Portland Art Museumfrom October 24 to October 26 on the
campus of the University of Tampa. The
conference features workshops in poetry,
fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as
panels and readings. The faculty includes
poet Erica Dawson, fiction writer Steph
Post, and nonfiction writer Craig Pitt-
man. The cost of the conference is $65
for FLAC members and $95 for non-
members. Workshops are available for an
additional $40. Registration is first come,
first served. Lodging is available at the
nearby Sheraton Riverwalk Hotel for a

to January 25, 2020, at the Old School
Square in downtown Delray Beach,
Florida. The festival features workshops,
readings, craft talks, manuscript con-

nonfiction writer Rhys Martin; agent
Jennifer Udden (Barry Goldblatt Liter-
ary); Nimrod International Journal of
Prose and Poetry editorial board members
Diane Burton, Crystal Carey, Cynthia
Gustavson, and Christopher Murphy;
and recent winners of the Nimrod Liter-
ary Awards. The cost of the conference is
$60, which includes lunch. Scholarships
