Bethany’s TERROR

Craig gets hurt when

one of pimp Nathan’s

mates visits the Bistro...

A

lmost two years ago,

Nathan Curtis was jailed

for preying on vulnerable

teenager Bethany and

pimping her out during his

secret sex parties.

But although the evil pimp

is behind bars, the past

comes back to haunt Bethany

when a family arrives for

dinner at the Bistro and the

waitress recognises the dad

from the awful evenings.

A horrified Bethany tells

co-worker Daniel about the

man’s shameful secret but

pleads with him not to say

anything. Can Daniel just

stand back and do nothing,

though, when he sees how

shaken Bethany is?

As events spiral, Bethany’s

policeman pal Craig, who

helped Bethany bring

Nathan and his sex ring to

justice, is knocked down

outside the Bistro when the

creepy customer’s wife flees

the scene and accidentally

reverses her car into him!

here was a shock for Steve

last week when the

cabbie heard he could

be the biological dad of

hairdresser Emma!

The rumour mill began

after Emma’s terminally-ill

father made a deathbed

confession and salon boss

Audrey found out that Emma’s

mum is Steve’s one-time

girlfriend, Fiona Middleton.

But unsure if he’s ready to take

on a grown daughter, Steve carries out a

secret DNA test to find out for certain...

With Emma unaware her real dad

could be living so close to home, Steve

invites her for lunch at the Bistro to

cheer her up before her father’s

funeral. But during the meal,

Steve sneakily steals a

strand of Emma’s hair and

sends it off for DNA testing.

Test results

On the day of the funeral,

Emma is pleased to see a

familiar face when Steve arrives

at the church with a wreath.

But he also has something big

to tell her... The DNA test results

have confirmed that he is her biological

dad! How will Emma react?

After a video call with her mum (which

will see Angela Griffin reprise her role

as Fiona), Emma decides to leave town.

‘She’s had enough,’ explains

Alexandra Mardell, who plays Emma.

‘She doesn’t have a good relationship

with her mum, so all the relationships

she’s made on the cobbles so far were

really important to her. But now the

trust has gone with everyone and

Emma decides to leave. She needs

someone to show her that there are

more reasons for her to stay.’

Will her newfound family step up

and stop Emma from going? Q
