US prosecutors

want to talk to

British woman

linked to Epstein

By Bill Gardner

A SECOND British woman has been
drawn into the Jeffrey Epstein sex
scandal after alleged victims repeat-
edly linked her to the paedophile
financier.
US prosecutors want to speak to
Emmy Tayler after witnesses claimed
she was part of Epstein’s inner circle in
the early Noughties, The Daily Tele-
graph can reveal.
Now aged 44 and living quietly in
Oxford, Ms Tayler was named in un-
sealed court papers as the former per-
sonal assistant to Ghislaine Maxwell,
Epstein’s ex-girlfriend.
Earlier this week, one of the alleged
victims launched a lawsuit against Ms
Maxwell, 57, amid claims she “acted as
a madam” for Epstein by helping him
to procure young girls for sex
Ms Tayler, the daughter of an
Oxford University professor,
has since moved back to Britain
and now works as a voice-over
artist. There is no suggestion
that she had any knowledge of
Epstein’s wrongdoing, and many
of the court claims have been
disputed. Epstein killed
himself in a federal
prison last weekend.
Lawyers for his vic-
tims, however, are un-
derstood to have
urged US prosecutors
to seek an interview
with Ms Tayler as they
try to build a case
against his alleged co-
conspirators.
According to docu-
ments unsealed on Aug
9, Ms Tayler was de-
scribed by witnesses and
alleged victims as a key
member of Epstein’s en-
tourage during the time he
was allegedly trafficking
dozens of under-age girls.
Flight logs suggest that

she travelled regularly on his private jet,
nicknamed the “Lolita Express”. Her
name also appears in his notorious
“‘little black book”’ of celebrity con-
tacts.
One witness told the court that Ms
Tayler once showed her how to mas-
sage a naked Epstein at his Florida
mansion. “At that point, I met Emmy
Taylor (sic), and she took me up to Jef-
frey’s bathroom and he was present,”
Johanna Sjoberg said. “And her and I
both massaged Jeffrey. She was show-
ing me how to massage.
“And then... he got off the table, she
got on the table. She took off her
clothes, got on the table, and then he
was showing me moves that he liked.
And then I took my clothes off. They
asked me to get on the table so I could
feel it. Then they both massaged me.”
Asked how Miss Maxwell referred to
Ms Tayler, the alleged victim replied:
“She called her slave.”
Multiple women have accused
Epstein of sexually assaulting
them while they were paid to give
him massages.
It is understood that Ms Tayler
originally travelled to the US in
the late Nineties hoping to
become a model or an
actress.
After meeting Ms
Maxwell in New York,
she was put up in a
Florida apartment
with the promise of a
lavish lifestyle if she
helped with errands
and paperwork.
According to an
online profile, in re-
cent years she has ap-
peared in low-budget
films, and has done
“bright, youthful,
clear” voice-over work
for the likes of Cadbury.
There was no answer at Ms
Tayler’s Oxford town house
last night, and she could not be
reached for comment.

Maxwell spotted with her dog at

Los Angeles burger restaurant

By Harriet Alexander in New York

BRITISH socialite Ghislaine Maxwell
was spotted in Los Angeles on Monday,
photographed reading a book on the
history of the CIA at a popular fast food
restaurant.
The 57-year-old’s whereabouts have
been the subject of intense attention
since the unsealing last week of court
documents alleging she played a key
role in assisting Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual
abuse of young girls.
Two days after her former lover’s
death she was seen in LA, sitting out-
side with her dog, at a branch of In-N-
Out Burger. She posed for a photograph
when a man, described by The New

York Post as being a regular at the chain,
recognised her. Miss Maxwell report-
edly told an onlooker: “Well, I guess
this is the last time I’ll be eating here!”
The source said that Miss Maxwell
was reading a book called The Book of
Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths of
CIA Operatives and seemed resigned to
having her picture taken.
“She was perfectly friendly, very
lovely,” the source said.
The New York Post published the
photograph yesterday, but did not say
where it was taken in LA.
Miss Maxwell has not been pictured
in public since 2016, when she sold her
mansion in New York City and disap-
peared from view.

Clinton in blue dress

had pride of place in

paedophile’s home

By Harriet Alexander in New York

JEFFREY EPSTEIN kept a bizarre
painting of Bill Clinton on prominent
display in his New York townhouse, it
was reported yesterday.
Epstein’s £63.5 million seven-floor
home on the Upper East Side – the larg-
est private home in the City – was de-
scribed by the young girls who accused
him of abusing them as being full of
surreal and intimidating art.
Among the most unusual of works is
an oil painting of the former president
dressed in a blue dress similar to the in-
famous one worn by Monica Lewinsky
during one of their sexual encounters,
and wearing red stilettos.
The artwork, called Parsing Bill, was
painted by Petrina Ryan-Kleid a New
York-based Australian artist.
Epstein and Mr Clinton were friends
before Epstein’s 2005 arrest for prosti-
tution of a minor, and Mr Clinton took

four trips on the financier’s private jet
as part of his work with the Clinton
Foundation.
A spokesman for Mr Clinton said af-
ter Epstein’s arrest for sex trafficking in
July that he was completely unaware of
Epstein’s “terrible crimes” and hadn’t
spoken to him in “well over a decade”.
Some speculated that Epstein’s deci-
sion to hang the bizarre painting was in
response to his being “dumped” by his
former friend.
Epstein, who was found dead in his
prison cell last Saturday, was known
for his unusual tastes in furnishings.
A life-size female doll, hanging from
a chandelier, greeted his guests as they
arrived. At the bottom of the staircase
was a large chessboard, with each of its
pieces dressed suggestively and mod-
elled on one of his staff members.
The entrance hall featured “row
upon row of individually framed eye-
balls, imported from England”.
