Thanks to the special profile that eliminates
the doorstop between the door panel and
jamb, the Moon modular system of doors
assumes a minimalist language that enables
total integration between door and wall.
Designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, the Moon door
offers the option of push or pull opening,
ensuring maximum freedom in terms of
design. Completely flush with the wall,
Moon is also available as a double-hinged
door with a stoneware finish.

An armoured door with pivot opening,
Intro combines advanced anti-intrusion
technology with pleasing aesthetics.
While on the internal side, the armoured
door can be configured in an aligned
or flush with the wall version, on the
outside, as well as the standard solution,
it is also available flush with the wall.
The handles have been designed to
achieve perfect visual harmony, while
the structure has an aluminium casing
with no visible screws even when the
door is open for clean-looking forms
and volumes.

The competition to modernise and extend
the St Jakobshalle arena near Basel which
hosts the Swiss city’s most important sporting
events, has been won by architectural
practice Berrel Berrel Kräutler Degelo who
convinced the jury of the architectural
competition with their proposal to redesign
the layout of the building. In their design, the
main entrance has been relocated and an
urban piazza created that leads visitors inside
the building through a new gateway. The
ambitious nature of the construction is also
reflected in the 6.5 m long glazed facade
that isolates the atrium from the outside and
for which have been used transoms and
mullions from the VISS TVS curtain walling
system by Jansen. The profiles are made from
steel – the best material when it comes to
supporting, as in this case, a high load with
large intervals between the supports.
