to connect with my darling dad.

Dad was a character, quirky, funny,

kind and thoughtful. Above all he

loved his family, especially Mum,

whom he cherished with all his

heart and soul. They were married

for 62 wonderful years.

arilyn just wanted to be

noticed. Her career took her

into some high social circles, as

well as mixing with very good-

looking men. She knew how

to party and dine with others,

although at times conversation

would be limited and she was

often left out. But her looks and

natural beauty were the envy

of everyone, whether they knew

her or not. I feel that she was

often lost and lonely, and all

she wanted was a committed

relationship, which she never

seemed to fi nd. She was often a

recluse and didn’t like to venture

too far from her comfort zone.
