Chat It’s Fate – September 2019

Humbling

emails for appointment
requests, light several
healing candles for clients.
These can be for past or
existing clients and, of
course, clients to whom I’m
sending distance healing. Not
everyone can get to me for to
face-to-face healing, (although
Skype usually gets around this),
and if a client is really infi rm,
this is usually the best way for
them to receive healing.
I do off er a visiting service for
the infi rm or housebound
locally. Sometimes, I’m asked
to go into hospital to visit clients
in General and Intensive Care
Wards. Hospitals are usually
very happy about this and go out
of their way to help.
One visit was to Intensive
Care, where my client was
hooked up to various machines.
As I was healing, I was
completely oblivious to

everything around me.
‘Every time you touched the
patient and gave healing, the
blood pressure/heart monitors
went back to normal,’ the family
told me afterwards. They said
that when I took my hands off ,
they raced again.
It’s always reassuring to hear
that what I’m doing is working!
I know that it is, of course – but
not everybody sees it in action
like that!

Friday
I sit in my healing room and
mediate, preparing for a client
to have a full reiki treatment
before they decide on
whether they want to

train in reiki.
It’s a good idea
to have a full
healing session
before signing up for
reiki training, as it can
be expensive, so it’s
always best to fi nd out
what a healer’s healing is
actually like and whether or not
you ‘bond’ with
this person.
I always
recommend this to
anyone who is
thinking of reiki
training, as it
enables my client
to fi nd out what I
do, and also for me
to see whether they
need more healing before
they begin training. It may even
be the case that now isn’t the
right time for them to start.
Spirit always lets me know.

Saturday
I’m off to a wedding! I do
some ‘party work’ like this – my
last wedding had over 300

guests and I was invited to give
healing and short readings.
I was a bit concerned about how
this would work with a band and all
the other entertainments for the
guests – but everyone loved it! I had
a queue of people all night waiting
to see me, which was wonderful.
By the end, we were mixing spirit
with spirits of the variety found in a
bottle – but a good time
was most defi nitely had
by all!

Sunday
A much-needed rest
day - and relax!

T

hroughout history, women
have always been healers.
In ancient Egypt, priestesses
of Isis were regarded as
physician-healers who
obtained their healing powers
from the great mother goddess
Isis herself.
