AT-A-GLANCE GUIDE

Searching for aliens!

Do aliens exist and have they made
contact with Earth? Six intelligence
and science experts use all sorts of
special techniques and CIA tools to
find out once and for all in this new
series. First, they hear from military
personnel who claim they saw a
UFO travelling at 100,000mph...

Who built the pyramids?

Fascinating new evidence about the
ancient Egyptian pyramids is being
uncovered all the time. Recent
finds tell us about those involved in
building the Great Pyramid at Giza,
including the logbook of a labour
team leader. This documentary not
only provides an insight into the
logistics of the build, but reveals
how the labourers were treated.

Killed by a staircase

Each year, a whopping 90 billion
escalator journeys are made,
but how safe are they? This
documentary reveals horrifying
footage of escalators out of control.

Teen farmers!

The Yorkshire Vet’s Julian Norton
spends time with four passionate
young Yorkshire farmers to find out
if they’re ready to follow in their
family’s footsteps and take up the
farming challenge. Teen champion
sheep breeder Laura wants to learn
to shear, while young brothers
George and Henry are forced to
help with some difficult births as
their cows go into labour.

The £10m fake?

Fiona Bruce and Philip Mould try to
find out if a painting could be worth
up to £10million! Nick Hopkinson
inherited a stunning Venetian view
and suspects it could be by famous
Italian painter Francesco Guardi.

Facing danger

Stacey Dooley often finds herself in
dangerous situations while filming
her documentaries. Now she comes
face to face with terror group
Boko Haram. In Nigeria, she meets
Falmata, who was kidnapped by
Boko Haram when she was 13 and
forced to strap on a suicide belt.

Cher is one of the most recognisable
singers in the world and the only
artist to have had a No.1 hit single
in every decade since the 1960s.
But, as this one-off documentary
reveals, the 73-year-old star has
been plagued by insecurity and
dissatisfaction throughout her life.
She was abandoned by her drug-
addict father and spent time in an

orphanage as a baby, while her
mother had a string of husbands.
Cher went on to marry American
singer Sonny Bono in the 1960s and
they had a child together, but his
controlling ways almost destroyed
her and they divorced in 1974.
There are some fascinating rare
clips of Cher, as well as dramatised
re-creations, which uncover the
troubled singer behind the public
persona and reveal how Cher has
never been happy with her work.
