(CII) and supported by the Ministry of Electronics
and Information Industry, Government of India, the
Second Edition of Indian Gaming Show 2019 was held
at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 3 February to 5
February, 2019. Japan with backing from the Japanese
Government and CESA once again returned with a
company pavilion that focused on their unique animation
sector. Approximately 20 companies participated with
their anime and merchandise on display. The Fusion
Wall was the highlight with its interesting blend of
Hologram Art and Performance.
Various announcements took place here as well.
Sachin Tendulkar made an appearance to inaugurate
Sachin Saga VR, India’s first multiplayer VR cricket
app developed by JetSynthesys. WD Black NVMe
SSD and a competition took up all the stall space of
Western Digital while Kingston with the tag line “we’re
all gamers” had most of their HyperX lineup as well
as a distinct space for streamers up. The Zebronics
booth was dominated by RGB components whereas
ANT-PC had their special gaming chairs present along
with a smattering of devices from Steelseries, XPG
and MSI. In a corner Reliance Digital was promoting
laptops powered by Intel Core i7 8th Gen. Samsung’s
curved and QLED display panels were up all around that
attracted attention. HP had a closed dome-like structure
for their OMEN products. Gigabyte Aorus launched the
27” QHD (1440p) AD27QD monitor boasting 144Hz
refresh rate and 1ms response time. Further, the Aorus
range encompassed everything from peripherals like
headsets to hardware including motherboards, graphic
cards almost all of which were physically at hand along
with an ultra compact PC kit and Brix Gaming VR.
The Sony Playstation demo zone had the Playstation
4, Pro and VR plugged in with exclusives like Detroit:
Become Human, God of War, Blood & Truth and more
