We start with Lawrence D’Souza’s
‘Saajan’. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri
Dixit & Salman Khan, Saajan turned out
to be a big hit. A large portion of the
credit should go to the music. Nadeem
Shravan won the Filmfare Award for
Best Music for their work in Saajan.
We have selected three numbers,all
megahits. They involve playback singers
Alka Yagnik, S P Balasubramaniam and
Anuradha Paudwal.‘Deewana’ came in 199 2.It starred
Rishi Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan and Divya

big hit and is very popular on the video
circuit. The music by Nadeem Shravan
was outstanding and intoxicating. Three
outstanding songs have been included
in the CD. They have been rendered by

newcomers and was a dud at the box
