LIFESYSTEMS
Expedition 50+ Repellent, EX4
Anti-Mosquito Spray and Bite and
Sting Relief
From £4.49-£10
According to medical advice the best way
to protect ourselves from insects – and in
particular the ones that carry very serious
diseases – is to wear insect repellent that
contains at least 30% DEET. Lifesystems
have long been producing sprays and
creams to help protect our skin and o er
a range of products. The repellent itself is
a dual action formula that mixes DEET with
a chemical called pyrethrin that is a bite
inhibitor, discouraging any bugs that do
land on you from biting.
Also in their range is EX4 spray. This is
a nifty treatment that can be applied to any
fabric to instantly transform it into anti-bite
clothing – so you can take your favourite
top and have it repel the bugs. It will last for
several washes and can be used to treat up
to 3.5 square metres of fabric, so enough
for one out˜it and a mosquito net.
Finally, if the worst happens and you do get
bit, they also just released a new bite relief
balm, which contains witch hazel,
colloidal oatmeal and soothing aloe vera
to ease the itch quickly.
