Wiring systems can be quite compli-
cated, but it’s now easier to track down
problems with these new retractable
test leads. The leads are perfect for test-
ing circuits and simulating switches.
All you need to do is pull them out of
the housing when you’re ready to use
them. When you’re fi nished, each lead
retracts back inside without leaving a
rat’s nest of wires that can clog up your
shop drawers and toolboxes. Each unit
includes three color-coded, 10-foot-
long leads that will stay in place at
your desired length; 18-gauge copper
wire rated at 10 amps unwound and
6 amps wound; and easy-to-use alliga-
