Juliano and Ed Meyer discovered the radical Rapid Transit System
1970 Hemi Road Runner in 1991 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Candy
Gold and Pearl White member of the Rapid Transit System Caravan was
originally modified by Roman’s Chariot Shop in Cleveland. Modifica-
tions included flared rear wheelwells, a molded spoiler, Cibie head-
lights, a custom grille, and enlarged scoops. Ken Heckett restored the
car in 2000. Total selling price with fees came to a paltry $341,000.

The Rapid Transit System 1971 Road Runner in the Juliano Estate
Collection was built by Chuck Miller for Chrysler in 1970. It is un-
restored with only 1,300 miles. Multiple body modifications and
dynamic styling enhancements made this car catch the attention of
many enthusiasts. When the dust settled, the car sold for $236,500.
