Cannes Film Festival in 2018. Lily Franky plays the

impoverished but chirpy dad of an extended Tokyo

family that takes in an abandoned girl. The film looks at

kinship and blood-ties, aided by beautiful acting, and

culminates in a quietly devastating finale that will leave
