ELIE ASSAF – DEAN OF THE FACULTY OF BUSINESS
ANTONINE UNIVERSITY

Elie Assaf has been appointed Dean of
the Faculty of Business at the Antonine
University. He was previously Dean
of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik
(USEK) Business School. Assaf served as
the Director General of the Presidency of
the Lebanese Republic in charge of economic, social and
cultural issues, higher education and research. “My new
strategy will be reconsidering the curricula, programs, and
professors to modernize the business school,” he said. He
has also been Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business
Administration at the Lebanese University (LU), and Dean
of the Faculty of Information and Documentation. He was
behind the establishment of the Diploma in Journalism at
the LU. Assaf is also a founding member of the Lebanese
Businessmen Association. He holds a PhD in Economics
from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, France.

NATHALIE COMATY has been promoted to Senior Leasing
Manager at Majid Al Futtaim. Previously she was Project
Manager - Real Estate and Marketing at ABC. Comaty holds a
Master’s degree in Marketing from Ecole Superieur des Affaires.


SAMIR DAHDAH has been appointed Accounting Team Leader
at Mideast Power Systems, an ITG company. Previously, he was
Senior Accountant at Syspro – ITG Group. Dahdah holds an
MBA from the Lebanese International University (LIU).


SAMER MAALOUF has been appointed as Group Finance
Manager at Yammine Group (Coral - Liquigas). He was
previously Finance Manager at the branding and digital agency


WonderEight. Maalouf’s work experience is in accounting,
auditing, and financial management. He holds an MBA from
the Lebanese Canadian University and University of Bordeaux
IV. He also holds a BA in Auditing from the Lebanese Canadian
University and a TS degree in Accounting from the Technical
Institute-Dekwaneh.

SANDRO MAALOULI has been promoted from Senior Product
Group Manager to Marketing Manager at Obegi Consumer
Products Holding. Previously, he was Brand Manager at G.
Vincenti & Sons. Maalouli holds a Bachelor’s in Advertising
and Marketing from Notre Dame University (NDU), and an
Executive MBA from the Lebanese American University (LAU).

ALINE NAKHOUL has been appointed Regional Director at The
Alpha Group International, a company specialized in risk control
and management consulting services. Nakhoul is the Audit
Human and Organization Development Manager at Nakhoul
Corporation. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration
from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK).

NABIL TABBARA has been appointed as Advisor for Group
Retail Banking at Bankmed. He was previously General
Manager for the Levant region at Visa. Before joining Visa in
2013, Tabbara had a 20-year career in the banking sector. His
work experience includes marketing and business development
as well as customer service and branch management. Tabbara
holds an MBA from the Lebanese American University (LAU).

PERLA ZIADE has been promoted from Senior Human Resources
Officer to HR Manager at Maison M. Previously, she was HR
Representative at MAN Enterprise. Ziade holds a Masters in
Human Resources from the Lebanese Canadian University.

MARK TIMBRELL – GENERAL MANAGER
KEMPINSKI SUMMERLAND HOTEL & RESORT

Mark Timbrell has been appointed General
Manager of Kempinski Summerland Hotel
& Resort in Lebanon. He has 35 years of
experience in the hospitality sector, with
24 years in the Levant and GGG areas
including Lebanon, UAE, Bahrain, Jordan,
and Qatar. Previously, Timbrell was General Manager of
Kempinski Hotel in Amman. Before handling this position
he was General Manager of Gefinor Rotana. “Kempinski
is a relatively new brand in the country and the public
are becoming more aware of it, so my task will be to
continue to grow the brand presence.” Timbrell will focus
on creating more reasons for people to come to the hotel,
through preparing special events throughout the year, such
as a Christmas market. Timbrell holds a Higher National
Diploma in Hotel and Catering Administration from the
University of West London.

MARC AUDI – VICE-CHAIRMAN, BANK AUDI


Marc Audi has been appointed as Vice-
Chairman of Bank Audi. Marc, who is the
son of Jean Audi, has been a board member
since 1996 and a General Manager since


  1. He is the bank’s Country Manager
    for Lebanon. Audi replaces Freddie Baz
    who has stepped down as the bank’s Vice-Chairman and
    board member. He will hold his new position for the
    remainder of the current board’s term. Marc Audi started
    his career in the Bank Audi Group in 1981, and held
    several executive positions in Lebanon and in countries
    such as France, the USA (California), and Switzerland. The
    Audi family holds a 6.9 percent stake in the bank. Marc
    Audi holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the
    University of Paris IX – Dauphine
