Inside the cab, the worn effect on floor was replicated using rust shades
together with Vallejo Air Steel

For the pump, the author used AK Interactive Engine Grime, Streaking
Grime and Ammo Streaking Rust Effects to mimic the oil and grease

The author took step-by-step photos of the bonnet's weathering
using dark brown oils; the first step being the pin-wash. Chips
were then applied

The dust was from AMMO by Mig’s ‘North Africa Dust’ and
‘Streaking Rust Effects’. These enamels differentiate the truck body
colour so that it added some visual interest rather than being invisible

The windscreen was masked off with Eduard Masking Express cut to shape and then sprayed with AMMO by Mig 'North Africa Dust' Metal sheen was replicated with a 2B pencil

The author used the original vinyl tyres. They were first
rubbed with coarse sandpaper to reduce their vinyl look.
Brown oil washes followed, to start the weathering

AK Interactive
Streaking Grime and
Effects and Ammo
Streaking Rust Effects
were blended with
several thin coats of
dust enamels

Finally, the wheels were
rolled over various
pigments and fixed with
Tamiya X-20A thinner and
water prior to fitting
