Max&Charles:calm
beforethestorm
Twenty four hours before their
controversial coming-together
in the Austrian Grand Prix, I
noticed Charles Leclerc and
Max Verstappenenjoying a chat
together on thegrid, just after
qualifying had finished.
Lewis Hamilton was talking
to Paul di Resta on TV, which
was why these twowere
hanging about together. I quite
like thefact it looks as though
Leclerc has pulled an old-style
Wild West gunslinger move on
Verstappen with his right hand.
With their hard-nosed
racing the following day, which
continued at Silverstone, I think
we’ll be enjoying these two
go wheel-to-wheel for many
years to come as the sport’s two
biggest emerging stars.
