Although it’s become something
of a tradition, Lewis Hamilton
crowd-surfing after a British
Grand Prix win is still a rather
spontaneous celebration. And
it’s an impressive achievement
to have won this race six times.
Following thepodium
ceremony, I stayed on the
photographers’ tower in the
pitlane to get an elevated view
of the Silverstonefans.
Hamilton immediately
came to crowd-surf after the
podium, instead of going to the
press conference. I shotthis
on a 200mm lens which made
Hamilton smaller in the frame.
The intention was to capture
a wide-aspect shot to show just
how many people were there to
celebrate with him.
