he UK’s Lon gRoad Festival returns for its
second year this September and will feature
once again the popularClassic American
Car Show,jam-packed with cars and bikes to
investigate. ShowcasingthebeautyofAmerican
automobilesfrom workingvehicles and stylish
cruisers to chrome-covered art, the festivalwill
select inadvancearangeofclassic American
cars and bikes to be on display throughoutthe
weekend, with successful applicantsreceiving two
adult general camping tickets.
Taking placeacross threedays at Stamford
Hall in Leicestershire, from Friday, September
6toSunday 8, The Long Road presents one of
the UK’s largest, most authentic celebrations of
country, Americanaand roots music, featuringfive
stagesofl ive performancesand awiderange of
additional offerings, including the classic American
car display,songwriters’ rounds,awellness area,
traditional Southern-style foodstalls, heritage
crafts and workshops, and dedicated kids’ area.
The festival’svariedlive perfo rmance spaces range
from its Rhinestone County main stage to the
much-talked-about HonkyTonk Barand Front
Porch; intimate, immersive spaces that transport
their audiences straight into an authentic,
Nashville-inspired world.
