SWEET NECTAR
“I was really fortunate to capture this
photo (left) of a ruby-throated humming-
bird and a butterfly exchanging looks as
they both enjoyed a beautiful flower in
Rosetta McLean Park in Toronto,” shares
John Stager of Pickering, Ont. “What
I like best about this image is that I was
able to capture two beautiful but very
different creatures in the same frame.”

POTTED POSIES
“I just love this picture (below) and
had to share it,” writes Anneliese Cusack
of Winnipeg Beach, Man. “The colour of
the teapot and cups with the flowers
blooming caught my eye one day while
driving home and I had to turn around
and snap a picture. This display is in a
garden in nearby Winnipeg Beach; the
colour it adds to the garden and the joy
it brings each time I drive or walk by
is wonderful—what a great way to enjoy
the summer.”

CONTRASTING
COLOURS
“During one of my daily
nature walks on the outskirts
of town, this beautiful cedar
waxwing decided to land
in a nearby tree,” writes Melanie
Albert of Kapuskasing, Ont.
“Happily, I had my camera with
me—I always bring it along
on my walks as I enjoy
photographing
wildlife.”
