dusted at Jaipore by Ritu Aurora within
minutes. The deal clincher was the exquisite
gems on display that evening. The top-notch
quality of the stones coupled with the
keen eye for design and details of principal
designer, Dato Ritu Aurora, keeps the creations
fashionable, contemporary and versatile at
the same time. Her daughter, Anushka, who
is based in New York, has joined the business
and is injecting modern sensibilities into the
brand by designing pieces for the younger
generation. That said, Anushka’s creations,
while contemporary, do not veer away from
Jaipore’s values of authenticity and beauty. Its
strong relationships with its customers forged
by Ritu and her son, Nikhil—who is also the
brand director—over the decades, is another
