As my numbers started to be crossed

off automatically, I decided to have a little

natter with Jeremy about our day.

Jeremy and I were deep in conversation

so I hadn’t realised that a lot of my

numbers were already called.

Winning numbers

But when I glanced back at my screen,

I noticed I had just two numbers to go.

‘Look at this,’ I squealed to Jeremy. And

as soon as he looked, a banner popped

up on the screen telling me I’d won.

‘Wait! I think I’ve just won £1,500!’ I said.

‘As if you’ve just won!’ he beamed.

I couldn’t believe I’d won the Full House!’

I didn’t have to give too much thought

on what to spend my Woman’s Own

Bingo winnings on either, as it really was

time to turn our garden from drab to fab!

That weekend we set about revamping

our garden, putting in new decking and

looking at getting a fresh coat of paint for

the fence. We also got some new exotic

plants and pots, as well as a new water

feature. It all made such a difference.

I even had enough left over to treat

my grandkids to some new toys and

started to redecorate our bedroom.

So far, we’ve treated ourselves to a new

carpet – not that I’ve been in the house

much since the garden was done, mind.

I spend as much time as I can in my

garden now, it’s so stunning and what

a wonderful way to have spent my

incredible Woman’s Own Bingo win.
