Use a filter to refine the tones
Another way to adjust your tones is to use the Color Adjustment Curves filter. You can refine the tones that you just created or use this instead
of the Levels adjustment layer. Staying on the RGBA curve, use the same principles as in the Levels and tweak the curve accordingly.
The RGBA channel
controls the brightness
and contrast of your
image. The other
