‘A lot of people say I look like Kelly
Rowland. So I wanted to do this
makeover to see if they were right’

THE LOOK
Thandeka’s face is oval and this means it’s
suited to most hairstyles. We used a wig with
a curl type that’s easy to maintain and stays
voluminous. The side-parting slightly conceals
the forehead and highlights her pointed chin.

THE METHOD
Thandeka’s hair was washed, dried and plaited
into medium cornrows. To prepare the wig,
water was sprayed onto the hair using a spray
bottle to help accentuate the curls. Hair serum
was then applied on the hair to prevent frizz.
The wig was placed onto Thandeka’s head and
adjusted to fit snuggly.
