And it’s not only the poor who fall prey
to these fake pastors, rich people are also
suckered into “investing” large amounts
of money with the false promise that
God will make them wealthier.
People tolerate this manipulation be-
cause they believe their problems will
disappear. But they’ll wait in vain for
the promised jackpot or for the man of
their dreams to put a ring on it.
Instead of becoming wealthy, the vic-
tims end up poorer than church mice
while their pastors continue to flourish.

CHOOSE HAPPINESS
Don’t go into a marriage hoping your
spouse will change.  People are what
they are and few, if any, will ever change.
In some cases they can alter a thing or
two about themselves to impress you,
but it will only last for a short while.
Some will even pretend to be what you
want them to be, but the core of who
they are remains the same.
Don’t torture your soul trying to
change another human being. If you
can see that your marriage isn’t working,
let it go.
It’s better to walk away smiling than to
stay miserable for someone who doesn’t
care about you. Choose happiness and
fight for your happiness.

PROTECT YOUR UNBORN CHILD
Be wary of who you tell about your preg-
nancy. Keep the news to yourself where
possible in order to protect your child’s
spiritual health.
Avoid throwing baby showers with
many people and don’t let people touch

your baby bump. Your unborn child’s
spiritual health is dependent on you
while they’re still in the womb.
Pray for your baby and their wellbeing
while keeping harmful forces at bay at
any cost.
Protect your offspring from all nega-
tive forces, even if it means staying away
from certain friends and family mem-
bers. Speak positivity and light into your
child’s life, even before they’re born.

GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
In the space of just a few weeks South
Africa has lost three legends – James
Small, Mark Batchelor and Johnny Clegg
(Hamba kahle, Johnny, 1 August) – who
entertained us on stages and sports
fields for many years.
As usual death has done what it does
best, it sneaked in unnoticed to rob us of
our loved ones.
The loss of these three men is a big
blow to the South African music, soccer
and rugby fraternities, and the country
as a whole.
Johnny Clegg of Juluka showed us that
when you’re passionate about some-
thing you can be the best you can be. He
was a white man whose acrobatic and
