Vogue, the beauty

mogul revealed she

had plans to work on a

reggae album, which

could be R9. This could

mean she’s working with

Supa Dups, a producer

who’s worked with the likes

of Sean Paul.

But if previous collabs are

anything to go by, we could

see Pharrell Williams (they

worked together on Lemon),

Kendrick Lamar (Loyalty),

DJ Khaled (Wild Thoughts),

and Calvin Harris (This is

What You Came For).

If you’ve given up on waiting

for new music from her,

take heart because it’s

coming – or so Rihanna

says. This is what we know

so far.

drop this year.

cooking, she’s about

done. Super close.”

THE UNOFFICIAL TITLE

While RiRi has said the

album doesn’t have a name

yet, she’s joked she may call

it R9 after her fans dubbed it

that. “I’m about to call it

that probably ’cos they have

haunted me with this ‘R9,

R9, when is R9 coming

out?’” she told T magazine. 

“How will I accept another

name after that?”
