Meghan Markle is still officially on maternity leave, but

on July 29 she revealed she had guest-edited the

September issue of British Vogue while pregnant with

son Archie. The issue features a conversation about

parenthood between the royal mom and former First

Lady Michelle Obama—which Meghan said began “over

a casual lunch of chicken tacos and my

ever-burgeoning bump.” The issue also

showcases 15 women who highlight the

“values, causes and people making impact

in the world today,” Meghan said. (The

duchess, who turns 38 on Aug. 4, opted

not to be on the cover herself but instead

requested that a mirrored 16th space be

included to reflect the reader.) Among

trans-rights activist Laverne Cox, who received a surprise

call from Vogue editor Edward Enninful. Says Cox: “He’s

since the beginning. She said, ‘Aww.’ She thanked me for

On break from her

Las Vegas residency

Enigma, Gaga has

been keeping busy

with her new Amazon-exclusive

cosmetics line Haus Laborato-

ries. “She seems very involved

and excited,” says the source.

“Although she has been very

busy, lately she seems happier.”
