to reproduce some of the
architectural elements of a
castle. “There is something
that evokes a drawbridge to
me,” Amfitheatrof says.Ten artisans were involved
in the making of this
necklace. Imagine thepatience required to create
each tiny, essential piece.
“There is wonderful
latticework at the grip,”
Amfitheatrof says.
“At the bottom of the
neck is a chain link with
movement.“ This allows
the piece to fit quite
snugly but comfortably.
