GUGGENHEIM:

THE LAST

DOGARESSA”

to Venice in 1948 and

world premieres with cos-

Madison Park are opening in
London with Davies & Brook,
a new restaurant at Claridge’s

“LOVE IS CALLING”
Yayoi Kusama started
making infinity rooms in the
’60s. Back then men copied
her ideas and became famous;
today it’s a different story. This
room, made in 2013, is at the
ICA Boston. September 24

LE JARDINIER
Chef Alain Verzeroli’s new
Midtown Manhattan restau-
rant—designed by Joseph
Dirand—shows off everything
he learned in his 18 years
working for Joël Robuchon.
The vegetable-forward menu
highlights Verzeroli’s skill
with seasonal produce and
leaves plenty of room for
selections from the tempting
dessert menu. (We like the
lemon meringue tart—a lot.)
Upstairs, a second eatery,
Shun (contemporary French
with Japanese influences),
features two private dining
rooms and the prettiest new
bar in town. Open now

In addition to full menus for
everything from a simple Sun-
day supper to a showstopping
holiday dinner, and recipes
for crowd-pleasers like Grand
Marnier soufflé, Hitz offers
witty, charming, and easy-
to-follow advice (as well as
his own list of things to never,
ever do—like allow cocktail
hour to run longer than 45
