Truro Cathedral Truro’s triple-
spired cathedral is a stunning
example of Gothic Revival
architecture. Completed in 1910,
it was the rst new cathedral to
be built in England since Salisbury,
800 years previously. Designed
by John Loughborough Pearson,
the central spire measures 76
metres and is anked by two
61-metre towers. The stained-glass
windows are particularly beautiful.

Royal Cornwall Museum The museum houses a wonderful
collection of historical Cornish objects, including a
world-renowned mineral collection, highlighting the
area’s mining past. It also boasts an ancient Greek, Roman
and Egyptian collection supported by the British Museum,
ceramics from the V&A and some of the county’s nest art.

Trelissick The Trelissick Ferry runs from April to September and
is the perfect way to visit the National Trust’s Trelissick Estate.
This tranquil country house and garden, set on its own peninsula,
has stunning views over the Fal estuary. Admire the house’s grand
neoclassical facade, wander among camellias and rhododendrons in
40 acres of gardens or take a walk through the panoramic parkland.
