BUILD YOUR
OWN POKÉ BOWL
AT THE POKÉSPOT
For a quick bite that
won’t break the
bank, try The PokéSpot
(pokespot.com). Our
son introduced us to
this place, which is
popular with many
Georgia State University
students. The ingredients
are fresh, and the combos
are endless.

QUENCH YOUR
THIRST AT WORLD
OF COCA-COLA
The world’s most famous
beverage brand is
headquartered in Atlanta.
And on a paid tour of Coca-
Cola’s public attraction
(worldofcoca-cola.com),
you can see the vault that
holds the formula the
company has kept secret
for more than 130 years.
You can also sample Coke
products from all over the
world. (I like the apple-kiwi
Fanta from Thailand; my
husband likes Beverly, a
digestif introduced in Italy.)
Bonus: It’s next door
to the Georgia Aquarium.
GET ’ZA AT ANTICO
PIZZA NAPOLETANA
The pizzeria in Little Italia
(littleitalia.com), an Italian
food hub on Atlanta’s
west side, has communal
seating and the best
thin-crust, Naples-style
pizza this side of the
Atlantic. My faves: the
classic Margherita and the
Capricciosa. FYI: There’s
often a line, but they
allow BYOB wine. So
bring your patience and
a bottle of wine.
