AWARDS

The Northern Ireland Volleyball Association recently
celebrated the end of the season with their Annual Awards
prizegiving held this year at the Malone Lodge Hotel Belfast.
NIVA President Mrs. Irena Mannik welcomed the guests
to a most enjoyable evening dinner then proceeded with
the series of Awards. Craigavon Club Aztecs were Men’s
winners. But Grosvenor Belfast based women’s champions
Fireblades were selected Club Of The Year having lost only
once all year. Beach Volleyball continues in the Province
each summer on sands at Portrush, Bangor and inland at
Craigavon. Next year Northern Ireland Volleyball celebrates
its 50th Anniversary and plans are already afoot
