The best time to plan your cupboard storage is when you’re
having a kitchen redesign, as you can make sure everything’s
in place before any furniture is fitted. However, there are other,
simple steps you can take to make your existing cupboards
work better as well.
Look at the big picture and plan around important elements
like the cooker, fridge and sink. This way, you can assign each
cupboard a role, making it more straightforward to organise.
For example, utensils you use every day should be in drawers
beside the cooker.
Corner cupboards that pivot outwards are a clever way
to maximise storage space in a small area. Similarly, think
about adding deep slots in between cupboards for things like
chopping boards.
Once things are organised, add some elements that’ll help
maintain order. Our cabinet accessories include oak drawer
trays with sections for cutlery and wooden spoons. For a more
tailor-made solution, you can also add spice racks and drawer
dividers.
And if you need extra storage space, consider a freestanding
pantry cupboard. They’re great for keeping the bulk of your
ingredients in one place, or even storing recipe books and
saucepans.
Say hello to your new, improved kitchen.
