orth of Belfast, separated from the rest of the city by Cavehill, lies Newtownabbey, a large settlement

that forms part of Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council. Newtownabbey is home to the popular

Abbey Centre and Valley Leisure Centre, as well as the main campus for the University of Ulster in the

Jordanstown area. Within the urban area of Newtownabbey lies Glengormley, a townland which is located

close to the M2, linking Belfast with Antrim and Ballyclare. Glengormley is a popular destination for visitors to

and residents of Northern Ireland, being within walking distance of Cavehill Country Park and Belfast Zoo. In
